"We are native Irish speakers, or Gaelic as some might call it.
Faherty Tours was established by my grandfather in the early 1950's where he took people around the Aran Islands on a pony and trap and showed them this beautiful island and all its historical sites. My father joined the company and decided to upgrade to a bus in early 1970. I joined the the company in 1990 and married a beautfiul women from Loughrea Co.Galway. We have one daughter named Aoife.

So as you can see tourism and coach hire has been in our family for generations. We take great pride in showing people the best places to visit in galway, Aran Islands, Connemara. Our aim is is to make your experience with us an enjoyable one with fun, laughter, and informative tours we like to take you off the beaten track and show you the Ireland where you get a chance to talk to the locals.

Faherty Tours are 100% Irish and all our guides and drivers are local people who have all great personality in their own way. Some are from Connemara and some are from the Aran islands.
